Mistletoe All the Way is book 3 in the Evergreen Falls series and follows Noah, the cowboy vet, as he fights for his family home alongside Eloise, a marketing and PR professional, as she fights to build her new business in Evergreen Falls during the holidays.

About Mistletoe All the Way
Noah is a twin boy born to his parents. He grew up in Evergreen Falls, on his grandfather’s ranch. His mother taught him about the animals. How to treat them, how to take care of them and how to respect them. He and his first horse, Honey, share memories of learning to ride, going on adventures and taking care of her needs. He and his twin, Chris, are opposites. Chris is very outgoing, personable, social. Everyone likes him. Noah is more reserved and appears grumpy all of the time.

Eloise is an only child to Country Club, Lawyer parents. When she wen to college, she majored in pre law for her parents. But after one year of law school, she dropped out. Her parents were not happy with her. Especially since she decided to marketing and PR work where she could be creative. She is the polar opposite of her parents in everything, including her demeanor, her personality and her bank account.

Noah is back in Evergreen Falls at his grandfather’s request. He has an announcement to make and he wants everyone in his family there. Everyone knows he wants to retire, but no one is expecting the full impact of his announcement. And even more shocking is the competition it spurs between Noah and his cousin, Steven.
Eloise has just arrived back in town, after returning from a meeting in San Francisco. She is deeply disappointed, but seeing all of the holiday decorations helps lift her mood. She loves the holidays and all of the town activities.
When Eloise learns about the competition between Noah and Steven, she signs on to be Noah’s social media and PR person. She creates a Cowboy Vet social media account and starts posting. Then she enters him in the town’s Mr Holiday competition. Her reasons for helping Noah win the competition are two fold. First, to help him prove to his gramps he has what it takes to run the family sleigh ride farm. Second, to prove to the town’s mayor that she is capable of handling the marketing and PR for the town.
As they prepare for the first event, introducing the contestants, something fishy seems to be happening. Maybe they are just imagining it.
As the events happen, it seems like Noah gets all of the bad breaks. But he makes the best of it. He channels his inner twin to get through this competition. But is he really faking it, or is he starting to love Christmas?
But there is definitely something is going on with Steven. And Eloise is determined to find out what it is. She becomes an amateur detective. She does not understand the actions she is seeing, but she shares everything with Noah. Now they are partners in more than the holiday competition.
As the town competition is nearing its end, the clues start falling into place. But it is not until the final day, when the winner is announced, that the truth comes out. Now Noah has to tell his gramps about it. He is not looking forward to it. He does not want to disappoint him, even if it is his cousin’s own doing.
Will Noah win the farm by default? Will Eloise win her dream contract? Will these two part ways amicably? Will Noah decide to move back to Evergreen Falls? What is in store for everyone involved?
Impressions
I love this series by Lauren Blakely. It is light hearted, holiday fun. The town competitions are legendary and will make you laugh. The love stories remind you of why Christmas is known as the season of love. I cannot wait to see who will be next to fall in Evergreen Falls.
It was such a joy to see previous Evergreen Falls characters return for the Mr Holiday competition in this book. I love seeing them return to the scene of their stories and shenanigans.
Noah has a story to tell in this book. He has never told anyone about why Christmas is so hard for him. Instead he just plays the grinch. But Eloise figures out why. She does not know the details, but she is able to get him to talk. These two share a lot of secrets that they have never told anyone. She is intuitive and inquisitive. But she knows when to back off. They have a special bond.
And let me tell you about Eloise’s gramma. That woman is the polar opposite of her child. It is amazing that they are even related. Eloise’s parents are stuffy, overbearing and demanding. Grams just flies by the seat of her pants and holds nothing back. I love this woman. And I love seeing pieces of her in Eloise.
Narration
This is a full cast narration with so many wonderful narrators. Teddy Hamilton playing Noah, Gregory Salinas playing Chris, Erin Mallon as Eloise, with JF Harding, Rose Dioro and Simone Lewis. These are all fabulous narrators and you will be in dreamland listening to this book.
