Slow Motion picks up the story of Kiki and Noah where Rewind left off.

At the end of Rewind, Bri and Bash’s story, we found out Kiki was pregnant and Noah was going on tour as a roadie for No Doubt.

Slow Motion picks up with Noah on tour and Kiki at the end of her pregnancy. She is frustrated and feeling like a single mom since Noah is gone so much. Noah is working his booty off doing double duty for No Doubt and Onyx Knight trying to bank as much money as possible so Kiki can take off a few months after she has the baby.

When her water breaks, she can’t reach Noah and fears he won’t be there in time. What she doesn’t know is that he was already planning on coming home after the shows that night until after the baby is born. Oh, and he lost his phone so he doesn’t get her messages. Lucky for him, he makes it home in time for the birth.

Slow Motion is a short novella that chronicles so many issues. Feelings of abandonment, thinking you’re a single parent, your partner is having fun while you’re working and raising a family, and postpartum depression. These are all issues couples face everyday in some way, shape or form. So many fears, so many emotions. Will these two survive as a couple? Will both be able to compromise to make things work?
