Merger is the final book in the Kings of the Boardroom trilogy.

About Merger
We have followed the story of Atticus and Gwen starting with Takeover, where her father sells her company to Pendragon, Atticus’ company and she is forced in to an arranged marriage with Atticus. Next up was Acquisition, where Gwen and Atticus team up to discredit his father and learn the truth about what really happened all of those years ago. And, now, we have the conclusion in Merger, where the mystery surrounding who is out to destroy this marriage is finally revealed. Can you guess who it might be?
While Gwen is recovering from an injury, Atticus decides to distance himself. He is warned by multiple people to discuss it with her, but he is a man and implements his plan without talking to her. Of course, Gwen rebels and what a way she does it. After this display, Atticus has not choice but to give in to her, talk to her and give her what she wants.
When Morgan, Gwen’s sister, finds herself in a sketchy situation, she calls her sister. Gwen is on her way out the door to go get her, but stops to tell Atticus where she is going. You can guess where that leads. Atticus and Lance go rescue Morgan and take care of the situation. Realization dawns on Atticus and he cannot wait to see what the future holds.
When the perpetrator of the crimes against Gwen and Atticus makes their final stand, who will be the victim? Who will be the rescuer? Why are they attacking Gwen and Atticus?
Ms. Malone gives us a sneak peek into her next book and, possibly, series in the Epilogue. Will it be Morgan’s story? Will it be Lance’s story? Will it be Micah’s story? Or will it be one of the handsome bodyguards’ story. You will have to read Merger to find out.
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. You may be able to guess who the perpetrator is and why they are doing what they are doing, but the ride is so worth waiting to see who it is and why. No one is above suspicion.
In addition to the suspense, I enjoyed seeing a strong woman, standing on her own two feet and not relying on a man to save her. Gwen is independent, strong and fiercely loyal to those close to her. She needs to feel like a partner in her business and her marriage.
What can I say about Atticus? Whenever Gwen is threatened or hurt, he reverts to being an alpha male intent on protecting her while removing himself from his feelings. He is notorious for not listening to his mates and talking to Gwen about things. Will he be able to change and give her what she needs from him?

About Nana Malone

Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling author, Nana Malone writes Sexy Feel-Good Romance and loves all things romance and adventure.
That love started with a tattered romantic suspense she “borrowed” from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen year old. She’s been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.
