About Formula Chance
Bex has grown up in the Formula International world. Her father worked in it for years and she grew up in his shadow. Now she is Chief Strategy Engineer for Titans Racing.
Nash used to drive a Formula International car for another team until a horrible tragedy left him injured and completely shaken. Now he is the lead driver for Titans Racing.
Did I mention that Nash and Bex have a checkered past in the racing community? Yeah another story of love gone wrong. So, can they work together cohesively? Only time will tell.
With Brienne Norcross being the first female owner of a Formula International race team, she is making history. Oh yeah, and in true Brienne style, kicking booty and taking names along the way.
As a woman who believes in having the best, regardless of gender, she has hired Bex, the first female Chief Strategy Engineer. She believes in her, but knows that she will get push back. This is a male dominated world and women are not openly welcome in it.
But push back is nothing compared to what Bex receives from the drivers and the Chief Engineer. But she does not put her faith in Brienne or the team she is building and instead goes off half cocked and does something stupid.
Nash is not having any of what is happening to Bex. Regardless of their past, she is good at her job. He supports her but when she does something stupid he calls in the big guns.
Impressions
It was hard for me to see what Bex had to go through from the men in the racing world. As a female in a male dominated work environment it was disheartening to watch.
I respected Brienne’s choice to consult with Luca about what has been going on with the team. She listened to him and got his take on what should be done. Then they jointly made the decisions that needed to be made.
However, Brienne is my hero. She is strong and efficient and takes no crud from anyone, man or woman. Watching her in action is like watchng Evel Knievel jump the Grand Canyon.
I cannot wait to see who is next in this series. Will it be Titans Racing, maybe Luca. Or will it be a member of another team’s turn.
Narration
Sean Masters is giving Aiden Snow a run for his money as my favorite male narrator. Their voices are so drool worthy. Can we say growly alpha male? As always Kit Swann plays the female roles well she has a smooth voice that is easy to listen to.
