Flame by Adriana Locke

Foxx’s book is finally here. It’s the final book in the Carmichael series. I’m still laughing at multiple scenes in this book. The “Proud Chicken Daddy”, the “girls” that went missing, the chicken who destroyed the wedding cake and so many more. Banks always has something up his sleeve with never-ending repercussions. But I think the twist in the story was what captivated my attention the most. How could someone who was supposed to love you unconditionally do that to you and your family?

I enjoyed watching Foxx and Bianca come to terms with needing to get married. And then to watch them actually fall in love. Perfect HEA. But the fact she finally got to be a woman with girlfriends and a life was the best thing to see.

Teddy Hamilton and CJ Bloom are a good pair in this book. I don’t listen to too many books narrated by CJ Bloom so this was a treat for me.
