I love his idea of the Advent desk. An original flare of a Christmas tradition. And it helps in bringing them closer, which is his desire. Is Yvette ready for his end game?
As a side note, for as grumpy as Old Man Raynor was, he has a soft heart. He knew it was time to move and what he offered Yvette was priceless.
