Forgotten Dreams is the fifth and final book in the Dream series and follows Sierra on her quest to learn where she comes from while falling for the man she hired to remodel her new house.

About Forgotten Dreams
On her 25th birthday, Sierra learns she is not who she thinks she is. Well she is, but she is not. While searching for a picture of her parents on their wedding day, she comes across a secret her parents have kept from her for her entire life. This secret makes her question everything she knows about herself and her family.
When she decides to move closer to her best friend in order to gain perspective and see if she can find some answers to her questions, she purchases a fixer upper home. She hires a local contractor telling him what she wants and when it needs to be done.
Caleb is the local construction contractor. He has more business than he can handle since a scandal broke regarding the other local construction contractor. Lucky for him, his family is in the business and he is able to borrow workers from his dad’s company to cover a new, rush job he just received.
Caleb and Sierra are infatuated with each other and know there is chemistry. However, you do not mix business with pleasure, in Caleb’s case. And Sierra is on a mission to learn more about herself. It would not be a good idea to get involved.
But when someone threatens Sierra, the first person she calls is Caleb. When she explains why she is really in Montgavin and what she is hoping to learn, he is worried, but willing to help her.
As they uncover information in the search of learning who she is, Sierra receives additional threats. But when that threat comes knocking on her front door, who will walk away unscathed?
Impressions
This was such a good book to read. It draws you in from the beginning and keeps you hanging on to the edge of your seat.
I do not blame Sierra for wanting to know who she is. But she could have handled it better with her parents.
Caleb could have handled some things better with Sierra, but I understand why he acted and felt the way he did. Sierra was being threatened. He was worried and wanted to protect her. I like that he talked to his parents about what happened and his mom told him he was wrong. Go mom!Oe!!
There are several moving moments in this story, especially at the end of the book. I do not want to spoil anything, so read or listen to the book. You will not regret it.
Narration
Over the years I have listened to a lot of books narrated by Gregory Salinas. He never disappoints and has such a pleasant voice to listen to. Savannah Peachwood is probably my favorite female narrator. I love listening to her and she never disappoints.
