I had a hard time with this book. It starts in present day and then goes back in time. From there it moves, oh so slowly, through Ollie and Megan’s history, both together and separately. While it is nice to know what happened during the time between when they met and present day, all I kept thinking was I wanna know what Dominic is up to. What is he planning? How bad is it going to hurt Ollie and others? I could’ve cared less about the history. All I wanted to know about what present day shenanigans.
However, the one good thing about this book is seeing so many beloved, and not so beloved, characters have appearances. Obviously, Dominic and his security team. But Sophie and all of the Barringtons were involved in Ollie’s self discovery journey. And, of course, Clay and Bradford, who now call Driverton home.
