It is always nice to revisit couples from a previous book and this was no different. This book finds Sandor and Lennox expanding their family while still protecting King Erik and Queen Casey and their children from harm.
Lennox is beginning to wonder if Sandor is going to expect her to give up her job as a Royal Protector once the babies are born. That is the last thing she wants. She loves what she does and needs to continue to work.
This book however, left me wondering what will come of Courtney. She was offered a chance at working for the Royal Protectors, but turned it down. Will she return to Limaj? Will her health issue be resolved? Will she ever confide in Lennox about what is going on with her? Here’s hoping for more information and maybe a book of her own.
